Standard hardware items such as bolts, nuts, and washers are listed and may not always have drawings although they always have part numbers. If there is no drawing of these items, then enough information must be given to completely specify them. For example, a bolt should be specified as to size, thread, head type, length, and finish. A bolt would appear in the materials list as BOLT, HEX HEAD .250-20 UNC-2A X 1.00 LONG, CAD PLATED.
