Wedding venue
Esta sala se encuentra totalmente equipada con sistemas de sonido e iluminación, cabina de DJ y escenarios para actuaciones. Se puede contratar con nosotros al DJ ya que contamos con equipos propios.
This is a text about a wedding venue. This room is where the disco after the wedding celebration is held. I'm just unsure as to whether equipos propios here refers to a team of djs or dj equipment. Any help would be much appreciated.

our own DJs
If they have booths for the DJs, they must have the appropriate equipment, too.
And I think "teams of" is redundant. If you need 1 DJ, perfect; if you need 2 or more, they've still got you covered.

Sorry, that could also be just:
OUR OWN.
That way, you don't repeat "DJ": hire a DJ with us .... our own.
And I agree with you, Lorna, as to it being staff instead of equipment. At the beginning they talk about the sound systems and booths (there may be a better word for "cabina de DJ").

: it's a singular "cabina" so singular DJ imo, not a team

A "cabina" can be big enough for 2 DJs simultaneously, which are fairly common (depending on location, size, etc.).

: I reckon "with their own equipment" will be taken as read :-)

Thanks, I guess ... although I was going for their "own DJs", my 1st option.

(our) own DJ equipment
way I read it
So any DJ you hire doesn't need to bring equipment

I think people hiring wedding venues want the option of hiring their own DJ. I never heard of "team of DJs" at wedding so believe this is about the equipment. So rewrite a bit...
We can take care of hiring the DJ for you as we already have all our own equipment in place (including DJ booth...)

Note from asker:
Thanks Gallagy ... your suggestion makes sense... I'm just a bit concerned though about the contratar con nosotros al DJ bit.. sounds like they will hire/organise the DJ for you...which makes me wonder could it possibly be that they have their own djs hence the equipos propios. Although if it were a team maybe that would be un equipo propio.... |

: The DJ equipment is referred to in the previous sentence where it mentions the sound systems etc. This second sentence definitely refers to the fact that they have their own DJs and is not about the equipment that they have.
