German term or phrase: Eisgugelhupf
Taken from a menu:

Rhabarbermousse mit marinierten Beeren und Eisgugelhupf

From looking around online, I have an idea what this looks like - but what on earth would it be called in English?

neutral  Anne-Marie Grant (X): ring cake with ice cream. To me 'ice' suggests icing.

agree  Lisa Davey: From this recipe (and picture) it looks as if the ice-cream has been made in a Gugelhupf mould - no cake mixture involved http://rezepte.t-online.de/rezepte/eisgugelhupf

-> Genau. Kein Kuchen, nur Eis.

You might even just translate it with 'ice cream cake', but it's less specific.

neutral  beermatt: 2 reasons: "bundt cake" is mainly US-oriented. I've asked some Brits - they didn't understand it, neither did I. Also, the recipe you provide contains cake mixture! "Eisgugelhupf" is a type of parfait made in a Gugelhupf mould - nothing to do with cake.
