agree  Alexander Vorobyev: "Эрадикация" - устоявшийся термин, лат. - 'искоренение'. На русском слишком жестко звучит (как и Уничтожение). Поэтому, как правило, в нашей гуманной медицинской среде это, согласен - страшненькая, но скромная, заимствованная, непонятная, "эрадикация" ;)
