On October 12th 2005, xy Diesel sent a follow-up letter to all suppliers regarding the upcoming deadline for *EDI connectivity*. Leo: EDI = elektronischer Datenaustausch (aber EDI wird wohl stehen gelassen), connectivity = Anschlussfaehigkeit, Verknuepfbarkeit. Gibt es einen speziellen Ausdruck oder laesst man es einfach stehen?

Die Kombination mit "EDI" kommt seltener vor, aber Connectivity und Konnektivität sind verbreitet (das wollte ich noch kurz klarstellen).

Grundsätzlich ist noch zu sagen, dass "Anbindung" selbstverständlich eine korrekte Alternative ist. Oft habe ich jedoch als IT-Berater die Erfahrung gemacht, dass "Konnektivität" bzw. "Connectivity" oft über die reine Anbindung hinausgeht.
Übrigens: schau doch mal ins Glossar ProZ.com Term Search und gibt unter Englisch-Deutsch mal "Connectivity" ein.
