vanguardist

This is a close if not exact equivalent. Rupturista would mean to break with a movement, while vanguardist would be to start a new one. I have seen "rupturist" used but usually in translations from Spanish.

I previously offered the option of \"rulebreaking\" but changed my mind. While it also bears some similarities to the concept of rupturista, it implies remaining within the same movement but breaking some of its rules, rather than breaking with the movement entirely.

Vanguard art would probably be more common than vanguardist.
