Как расширенный по смыслу вариант.
Это иожет и не быть непосредственный подчиненный. Например, сотрудник другого отдела/предприятия и т.д., который в силу различных причин и обстоятельств обязан по к-л вопросам отчитываться именно вам.
Или люди, временно и неформально (или официально) объединенные в рабочую группу по к-л вопросу, набранные из других отделов и официально (формально) подчиняющиеся другим руководителям.
И т.д.
Это иожет и не быть непосредственный подчиненный. Например, сотрудник другого отдела/предприятия и т.д., который в силу различных причин и обстоятельств обязан по к-л вопросам отчитываться именно вам.
Или люди, временно и неформально (или официально) объединенные в рабочую группу по к-л вопросу, набранные из других отделов и официально (формально) подчиняющиеся другим руководителям.

: but I believe you do need ""непосредственно" here. The reason is that there may be indirect (or even aggregate) reports too but the text is only interested in direct ones - hard to "build relationship" with other kinds.
