Помогите, пожалуйста, перевести "manual override" в следующем контексте:

(b) Each seat, berth, safety belt, harness, and adjacent part of the airplane at each station designated as occupiable during
takeoff and landing must be designed so that a person making proper use of these facilities will not suffer serious injury
in an emergency landing as a result of the inertia forces specified in Sections 25.561 and 25.562.
The intent of the manual override is to operate the seat in the event of a failure of the electrical actuation system. The
manual override is intended for use when the passenger seat is unoccupied.

3.39.2 Recommended Practice
 The manual override could be used without a passenger sitting in the affected passenger seat.
 The manual override is intended to be operated by cabin crew. Operating instructions for override use must be provided
by means of a placard near the override controls or by documentation provided to the crew.
 The way to use the manual override should be simple and each lever or button shall be marked.
 The forces and handling should be such that a single cabin crew (5%-percentile female to 95%-percentile male) should
be able to bring the seat into the TTL position.
