Hello! I'm Sally. Here are a few details about me, my background and my services:

* Who am I?

I am a native English-speaker based in France, and have a degree from Cambridge University and an MA (distinction) from the Courtauld Institute of Art. 

I moved to France in 2007 with my husband and two small children, and before this worked in the arts and the voluntary sector. I have been translating since 2011 and working as a fulltime translator since 2016. In 2018 I took the CIOL's Diploma in Translation (equivalent MA), to formalise my skills.

* What do I do?

I am a French-English translator, specialising in:

˃ Art and culture, especially modern and contemporary European art

˃ Academia, specifically art history/social sciences (DipTrans specialist paper in Social Science)

˃ Psychoanalysis

˃ Literary projects, with a focus on literary nonfiction
