I am a Japanese translator with unique experience in the production and translation of business and technical documents as well as writing promotional materials for the Japanese market.

I frequently work with translation agencies as an editor or final reviewer to assure that
the deliverables are of sufficient quality to meet the needs of their more demanding clients. As an editor, I’ve noticed that many translations, while meeting technical standards, do not convey the proper style or tone for Japanese business clients. This is a proficiency I developed in my earlier capacity as a marketing project manager at the Japanese affiliate of a U.S. direct marketing company.
