I am a fluent native English speaker, who grew up learning a variety of languages and I now have both a degree and a PGCE teaching qualification in both French and Spanish, not to mention experience in other languages and five years experience in teaching modern foreign languages in English secondary schools.

I have translated a variety of texts from French into English and I have a lot of experience in subtitling different genres of films and programmes from French into English, having done this for a French agency. I am also experienced with Subsync, which I use to create and place my own subtitles into different forms of media.

I have worked a lot with comedic and erotic films and tourist and psychological television programmes and I am willing and able to translate a variety of genres of texts and films from French into English.
