Interlang was started in Bulgaria in 1996 and has since grown to become the leading languages services provider working with the Bulgarian language.

Interlang became the first Bulgarian translation company to translate its commitment to quality into ISO 9001:2000 certification.

The company has an adequate computer pool, software to aid translation including several TRADOS, and Word Fast licenses, desktop publishing and communication hardware (including ISDN and ADSL lines and switchboard, faxes and Internet online connection).

Interlang is member of the Bulgarian Convention and Visitors Bureau, Bulgarian Business Leaders Forum, the Association of Interpreters and Translators and the Bulgarian Association of Professional Translation and Interpretation Agencies.

MAJOR ASSIGNMENTS

Interlang, has a long-standing working relationship with a number of international and local institutions as well as corporate clients, covering a wide range of topics and types of documents. The individual institutions will be able to confirm this, if necessary.

Interlang has proven success through being responsible for the provision and coordination of interpretation services at the following major events:

-Following an invitation to bid for provision of interpretation services in 5 languages Interlang was awarded the Contract for provision of interpretation services for the European Commission Conference on Disability held in Sofia, Bulgaria in December 2004.

- The OSCE 12th Ministerial Council Meeting proved to be another success for Interlang by the virtue of its interpretation and translation capacity. Bulgarian OSCE Chairmanship hosted the 2004 Ministerial Council on 6-7 December 2004 at the National Palace of Culture in Sofia.
