ProZ.com powwow: Alchemy Software presentation

Alchemy Software, based in Dublin, will sponsor the event, present their latest technology tools and offer discounts to attendees. A discussion on ProZ.com impact on our lives will follow.

We'll have a chance to learn more about the industry software products, chat about our favourite network and our job and also meet new people!

This event will be held at the Jurys Inn, Moore Street Plaza, Parnell Street, Dublin 1.

I'll have to do exactly the same as Diana - I'll have my daughter with me until her dad can come and pick her up. She's a bit bigger thought, and I'm afraid she might be disruptive, but in that case I'll just leave the room with her.

Powwows are a great chance to discuss translation related matters with other professionals, a good way to compare methods and approaches of our daily routine with colleagues (which represent a recurrent daydream for some of us, as often, when we do share our work problems, we do it through the internet or on the phone) and finally a very good excuse to get away from deadlines and word counts and meet interesting new people, unwind and have some fun...

not sure if you got my message so I'm posting here:

we'll meet at 5pm, but can be flexible (we can of course wait for "reasonable" latecomers before starting). Later on we can discuss venue and time changes if you like.

I second Nora's suggestion - mad pubs on a Friday evening is not quite me (just through sheer volume of people, I've nothing against pubs in general!!).

No worries, wasn't going for the pubs and the likes anyway. Have a couple of places in mind that I'm going to check out these days... I'll let you know.
