This is again from the same poem as mentioned in the previous questions. The full verse is as follows:


قال خطبت لك عروسه * مهرها عشرين فروري

Here the poet's father is telling him that he has found a bride for him for a dower of twenty [something]?

The poet trails the verse with this word for rhyming purposes only, I claim.

I guess the dowry of the proposed bride is meagre and is not worth mentioning.

Bride for you! said daddy...with a dowry of twenty
