Вопрос и правда простой. Здесь нет никакого скрытого смысла, за который ухватились коллеги. Оригинал не дает никаких поводов для сомнений.

Вот документ с исходным текстом - http://docplayer.net/186798009-C-ata-lo-g-smart-temperature-... (каталог реле контроля температуры). И в нем в качестве одной из особенностей реле указано:

By using a screw driver to setup and parametrize the relay, protection against high voltages in the switching cabinet is ensured.
Само реле обеспечивает контроль температуры, а не защиту от повышенного напряжения. А вот благодаря тому, что реле настраивается отверткой (а не непосредственно руками), обеспечивается защита [пользователя] от высокого напряжения, то есть пользователю не нужно лезть руками в шкаф и подвергать себя риску.

  -> Да для той фразы это не столь принципиально. Суть в основном в том, что к реле не придется прикасаться руками. "Лезть руками в шкаф" - это я образно написал.
