Hello everyone

A client assumed that I translated an XLIFF file using Trados 2015/17 and tells me to resend the file, with the option "Do not store segment information in the translated file" set. What effect does this option have on the XLIFF file?

A help page by Trados staff refers to the OASIS page on the XLIFF standard, but although the standard has a section on segmentation, it does not mention "segment information".

Thanks
Samuel
