Hello dear friends

I live in Argentina and I work for a translation company based in New Jersey. Due to all the bank restrictions of Argentinian banks at present it is very difficult for me to receive payment for my services. I know there may be other translators in the same situation and I would like to know how they handle payment. All help and suggestions are really appreciated.
Cecilia.

Paypal or other online services? May 23, 2015

I'm absolutely no expert in the very specific economic problems in Argentina, but Paypal apparently accepts account holders from Argentina: https://www.paypal.com/ar/webapps/mpp/merchant .

Using an online service may also make it easier to pay for services and goods from outside Argentina if needed.

There are plenty of other online payment services such as Neteller

There are plenty of other online payment services such as Neteller and Skrill, but they may not all accept account holders from Argentina.

Maybe you have a good reason not to use such services, but that's all I can suggest.

Thanks for your reply May 23, 2015

Thank you dear friend, I have tried many online services but as I told you, the transactions could not be completed due to the bank restrictions in my country. I will have a look at the link you provide and see if Paypal is a possible alternative. Many thanks indeed.

Hola Cecilia.

Transferencia bancaria May 29, 2015
