Spanish term or phrase: sensibilizar
A description of a process used by a pair of contemporary artists in Argentina:

transfer[red] onto
Explanation:
The text basically describes the general process of screenprinting. The design is transferred onto a mesh ("chablon") or screen (tela), usually with a mix of light-sensitive emulsion and chemical sensitizer... The screen is then exposed to light to "set" or "burn" the emulsion.
