'scanning off the data channel' refers to the time when it is, indeed, looking around to see what's happening on 'other' channels (maybe with a view to switching to an alternative channel which might offer better a signal-strength ratio or transmission reliability). |

escanear Explanation: XXXX-enabled APs spend most of their time transmitting data and scanning the operating channel rather than scanning off the data channel. Los AP con XXXX habilitado pasan la mayor parte de su tiempo transmitiendo datos y escaneando [explorando] el canal en uso, en lugar de escanear [explorar] el canal de datos. Pienso que el "off" sólo indica la fuente que se está escaneando. |
