I work with a client that sends me .xlf files to translate. I like to proofread at least once in MS Word before sending a translation off - but this isn't possible with xlf. Does anyone know how to convert an xlf to a docx for this purpose?

Thanks again for your suggestion. I'm rather hoping to be able to read a clean document: no markup, all images and formatting present, etc. Perhaps there's an external tool capable of this? I did see that Trados has a feature for Trados-format xliff (http://producthelp.sdl.com/kb/Articles/3448.html).
