Hello forums,

We are running into some issues with XLF files that have some translated segments when we receive them from the client, and need to clear all target segments before starting to work on the files. Is there any tool that does that?

Thanks!

Hi,

Swordfish has an option in Tasks menu to clear all translations.

Regards,
Rodolfo

Why Jun 1, 2016

Why do you need any tools? Just select all the target units and delete them all.

How would you do that if not in a CAT tool?

BTW: CafeTran's trial version can do it too (and probably every other CAT tool that can process XLIFF files too ...).

How does Cafetran clear all target segments in one go? I can't find the option. I guess it cannot clear just a range of target segments, but neither can Swordfish.

Regards,

Piotr

You can make a selection first: search text, regex or segment range. See also:
